This isn't really a regular album, but more a compilation of tracks from his previous singles (A and B sides). Doesn't matter much, it's all great songs. Kicks off with the rocking "In The Jailhouse Now" cover and doesn't miss out on classics like "More and More", "You're not Mine Anymore", "I'm Walking the Dog" to a vocal version of "Silver Bells". Webb is a real raw and true singer, he belts these words out so they can be heard through every honky-tonk. Than there's these excellent steel guitar and fiddle breaks and that stomping back-beat. Country like it should be played! This might not have his two best known songs "There Stands the Glass" and "Back Street Affair", but the songs gathered here are just as great.

·       CONDITION:

·       THE RECORD

 (IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted, ALL records are graded visually, and NOT play-graded!; we  grade records under the strong, diffuse room light or discrete sunlight)

(a)          WE GRADE THE VINYL AS STRONG NEAR MINT (APPEARS UNPLAYED). The original luster is very much intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.

(b)          The record is STILL in its original inner, perforated plastic baggy, which has - apparently with success - shielded the record from the harmful impact of elements over many years!

(c)           The record has a "deep groove" (an indent in the label about 1/2-inch from the edge of the label, which on SOME labels is associated with very early or first pressings).

(d)          This is the original flat edge pressing.

(e)           The record is pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(f)            True Stereo copies of this album are NOT known to exist.

(g)          Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

·                               THE COVER

THE COVER IS NICE --- ABOUT VERY GOOD++ (VG++).

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-        Cover has some light ring wear (nothing significant); On the scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and  10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of ring wear as 2 (front side) and 4 (back side)

-        Back cover has circular tarnish (grayish, dust-covered sections, which closely follow the contour of the record),  probably caused by friction or by rubbing against other covers during the storage. The tarnish is similar in appearance to a common ring wear, but, UNLIKE ring wear, these grayish areas may be possible to clean up with a minor effort and with a right cleansing solution.

-        Cover shows some light yellowing on both sides, apparently from aging (nothing significant)

-        Cover has some writing on its front side (BARELY VISIBLE initials of the previous owner written in blue ballpoint pen, about 1/8 X 1/8 inches (3 X 3 mm) in size)

-        Cover has a small quality control (inspection) stamp on the back panel

-         Cover has a tiny "wrinkle" (crease)  in one of the corners.  (VISIBLE ON BACK SIDE ONLY)
