Description

WEE LIZ, Tiny Little Pebble (Nat Kipner) / Lonesome 409(Nat Kipner), DOWNUNDER UK-1403.

Downunder was a shortlived Australian Sixties labels -- it lasted only five months, from June to October 1966, and released just thirteen singles. It was set up by producer-engineer Ossie Byrne and producer-songwriter-entrepreneur Nat Kipner to release recordings they made at Ossie's St Clair Studios in Hurstville. All thirteen singles were manufactured and distributed by Festival Records. - Taken from MILESAGO: Australasian Music & Popular Culture 1964-1975 website.

"Wee Liz is among the most obscure of all the Down Under artists." - Taken from 'Ain't Got No Feelin' website - a 'zine about obscure antipodean '60s beat music'

Super scarce record from a label that produced only 13 records - Promo Radio Station copy. The label has 2 marks where stickers once existed / a promo label is also on the label. I've played the record - it is very good / there are a few light scuff marks only / vinyl lovely & shiny.
