You are bidding for a CLASSIC UK ROCK AND ROLL SINGLE SIDED DEMO single by WEE WILLIE HARRIS called BACK TO SCHOOL AGAIN issued on the DECCA record label in the UK in 1957, cat number DRF 23892 (TRI CENTRE). The record is in excellent condition with excellent label apart from a small initial and reord timing written in blue biro on a blue label which is hard to see, it has few slight surface scuffs and scratches, and plays with no clicks or jumps and a minimum of surface noise. CLASSIC UK ROCK 'N' ROLL from WEE WILLIE HARRIS, who was without doubt one of the greatest rock and roll performers to come out of the UK, he made a series of CLASSIC ROCK AND ROLL RECORDS in the UK , without having a hit. A genuine JUKEBOX HERO discovered at the famed TWO I's coffee bar in London's Soho he was to have a profound influence on those that followed including JOHNNY KIDD, SCREAMING LORD SUTCH, IAN DURY, JOHN LYDON and the PUNKS, and ELTON JOHN. This is a RARE SINGLE SIDED DEMONSTRATION RECORD of one of the great UK ROCK AND ROLL RECORDS, and a piece of rock history. RARE and hard to find in good condition, from my own collection
