Description
Here is your chance to get the super rare Ween tripple live set "Paintin' The Town Brown". Released by Elektra / Mushroom in 1999 as "MUSH55LP" in a single sleeve with insert and spread over THREE solid pieces of brown coloured vinyl! To date this is the only regular Ween album that wasn't reissued on vinyl by either Chocodog, Plain or Schnitzel, the original copy is the only existing pressing of this album. Considering the rarity of this: At the time of posting my copy is the only vinyl copy for sale on the internet - not a single copy in the usual markets like Amazon, Gemm or Musicstack.
I bought this in 2000 and played it maybe two or three times. Condition:
The cover: This cream coloured textured single sleeve is a delicate affair and since it holds THREE records rarely turns up in Stone Mint condition. This example has no seamsplit or writing but a beginning ringwear, a small light trace from a pricetag and a bit of dirtying near the bottom. I'm really being super critical here: Very Good+. The insert is Excellent.
The records: Only played a couple of times so Record One and Two are Excellent. There is one visible flaw on the first side of the third record in the form of six scratches. These have been there already and most likely come from the pressing plant. They are only superficial and barely audible as they result in the occasional bit of surface noise. Since all this happens in the second half of "Poopship Destroyer" (with it's storm of feedback) and is over before "Puffy Cloud" kicks in this shouldn't be a major disaster. Record Three: First Side looks Very Good but plays Excellent, Second Side all Excellent.
