German pressing in the thin glossy cover of this hard to find Weird Al movie soundtrack LP. At the height of his popularity Weird Al stars as a nobody who inadvertently becomes the manager of a failing UHF television station and turns it around through wacky, creative programming. The film also featured David Bowie, Michael Richards, Billy Barty and Fran Drescher. This is a much rarer soundtrack than you might imagine, and being the late 1980s, it was the end of the LP era and well into the CD era, so album sales on this record were understandably soft in the U.S. (Not a lot of vinyl copies to be found.) Comes with innersleeve with printed song lyrics.
The thin glossy cover is in EXCELLENT condition, and the vinyl appears to be NEAR MINT. Can't go wrong with that.
