Very clean original first US pressing from 1978. Old eBay prices: $205 + $190 + $173. A real killer 7” from the West Coast. Here’s your chance to get a legendary punk classic from Los Angeles. Released on cult label ‘Dangerhouse’. With the band is Nicky Beat of Hardcore group FUNERAL (Waiting For A Bomb Blast). As you know Nicky Beat also used his drum sticks for the GERMS single (Lexicon Devil). Both WEIRDOS tracks are real crackers, especially ‘We Got The Neutron Bomb. We're Gonna Drop It All Over The Place. Your Gonna Get It In Your Face’. The really great song on the flip named ‘Solitary Confinement’. Label mates were the DEADBEATS (Kill The Hippies) AVENGERS (We Are The One) BAGS (Survive) RANDOMS (Let's Get Rid Of New York) and X (Adult Books). One of the best Dangerhouse releases; powerful, driving and melodic 77-style LA punk. A side is noisy and loud, almost in a hardcore style, but with a catchy chorus - a true hit. The B side is, well, a B side, solid music but not as good as the A side. A classic. [9]

Ein typischer Dangerhouse-Reißer, fetziger, melodischer 77er-Punk mit viel Drive und Power. Die A-Seite ist ein echter Hit; sehr krachig und laut (in dieser Beziehung eigentlich schon Hardcore), andererseits aber mit einer tollen, eingängigen Ohrwurm-Melodie, die das Ganze wieder sehr hörbar macht. Kult. Die B-Seite ist nur eine B-Seite… gut, aber nicht umwerfend.

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
