VINYL is NEAR MINT/EX+
Full Gloss Vinyl is super clean. NM on SIDE ONE w/ no marks. SIDE TWO is EX+ with a small, very faint surface scuff that is inaudible. Labels are pristine both sides with no spindle marks.

Still in the complete original Factory Shrink Wrap, crisp and clean with minor edge creases and a thin promo slice at u.l. edge. Small bend (front only) to l.r. corner. Seams and spine completely intact with no splits. Sharp, crisp spine titles - 100% legible.

STRICT CONSERVATIVE GOLDMINE GRADING
NM / EX(VG++) / VG+ / VG

RARE 1st Pressing TRANSLUCENT VINYL appears Black in normal light, but when held directly in front of a bright light it shows very distinct translucent (see-through) deep red. ...the result of using high-quality virgin vinyl in the pressing.

‘WELCOME BACK PLASTICS’ …their 1st album to be released outside of Japan.
It was simply entitled “PLASTICS” on this, their 1st USA released album.

…I was amazingly lucky enough to catch them LIVE in Santa Cruz CA, within a year of their recording this. They were mind-blowingly tight, fierce, uncompromising and sharp as a shonen knife - with radical, quirky minimal-synth interplay (onstage Chica and Toshio both had keyboards/synths, along with the master: Masahide Sakuma) and (the big surprise!?) Shockingly CRAZY GREAT Guitar-work …could easily have given FZ a serious run for his money … and Chica was absolutely at the top of her game - Her voice and presence were explosive. I just didn’t want it to stop.

From an utterly vast and deep record collection, from my life-long best friend
who was a DJ at the Radio Station I co-founded in the 1970's - and who worked for me at my California record store in the '70s and '80s. . Sadly he has now left this mortal coil, bequeathing me his deep Vinyl Mine.
