One of the most warped of the late 60s psychedelic pop groups, the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band fell under the creative control of Bob Markley, among the most bizarre musical minds in all of Los Angeles (and that is saying something). Featuring one of the earliest Frank Zappa covers (“Help, I’m a Rock”), their debut album for Reprise is the beginning of a five-album run that would make the WCPAEB one of the most beloved cult groups among aficionados of the underbelly of L.A.’s ‘60s pop scene. This is a very collectible original copy of a hard-to-find cult classic.

-Still in shrink. Close to NM. The only real debits are a few bumped edges at the opening on the back. Bit of ancient Scotch tape on the shrink, but it doesn’t touch the cover itself.
VINYL: VG
-Downgraded only because the paper scuffing and spindle marks are just a little more intense than I like to see them. A few hairline scratches. Upon playing, these turn out to be just cosmetic; this copy sounds great.
