     WEST COAST POP ART EXPERIMENTAL BAND    "PART ONE"   REPRISE 6247   1967

 

     Formed from the ashes of the Snowman in California  by Bob Markley and the Harris brothers, this band did try and expand upon the norm and go into new unexplored territories. Excellent songs, about half originals and including versions of Zappa's "Help I'm a Rock" and "P.F. Sloan's "Here's Where You Belong". Includes the single release "1906/Shifting sands" which did not chart. Other originals include "I Won't Hurt You", "Will You Walk With Me" and "Transparent day". The band did prove to be prolific in the studio and are highly regarded, which is totally deserved.  A wonderful album of Psychedelic pop rock...I Love this record.

 

REVG++  High Gloss, no spindle wear, a few scuffs still quite great

COVER: VG+(+)   Excellent condition except for some lite cover wear and a few small spot with..No major ring wear, writings, stickers, cut outs, seam splits or other damage
