Description
The Modern Mountaineers perform "Everybody's Truckin'" and "Who Calls You Sweet Mama Now" On Bluebird B-6911. Both sides swing like crazy with plenty of great solos. But Smokey Wood doesn't always sing "truckin." His f-bombs got this record pulled from jukeboxes.
Hal Hebert (ts); Smoky Wood (p,vcl); Lefty Groves (g,vcl); J.C. Way (el-steel-g); Johnny Thames (tenor-bj); J.R. Chatwell (vln); Rip Ramsey (b). recorded in San Antonio on March 1, 1937.
This record is in V condition with a few small label tears. But the music is so good, you'll forget the condition.
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing. I know how to pack records.
