Description
Up for auction is an original Nasco Records 1971 release of In A King’s Dream, by Westfauster. The record has been in my personal collection since it's release date, and has been stored in a locked cabinet. Select tracks were only played once…and some not at all. This may be one of the better copies of this record in existence.
Description: The cover is in excellent (and could even be considered near mint for it's age) condition. The corners are sharp with very little wear at all. The front cover artwork is perfect and the jacket still has a gloss finish. There is some slight discoloration on the upper corner of the back cover, but it is minimal. There is no ringwear. The vinyl is near mint with one or two light surface marks, when held in a bright light. The Nasco label is perfect. The original inside paper picture record sleeve, showing other Nasco Records releases/artists, has one or two corner creases, but is in excellent condition.
……Released in 1971 on the Nasco Label (Felt, Whalefeathers, Electric Toilet), the Much Sought-after in a King's Dream is Essentially Solid Prog Rock, Doused with Jazz and Psych, that is at Times Progressive, Especially When the Flute is in the Forefront. Hailing from Cincinnati, Westfauster Drew Influence from the Well-known British Bands of the Day, (In Particular the Beatles and Moody Blues). A Rich Use of Instruments, Especially Keyboard, Give a Dreamlike Feel to this Interesting Work.
The brainchild of C.W. Fauster, Westfauster were signed to the highly collectable Nasco label. Westfauster had just one record to their name, 'In A King's Dream', but trust me when I tell you its one of the best Ameri-prog albums you'll ever hear.
