Description
This is a white label Pitman promo. Super rare, hardly ever comes up for sale. The disc has been deep-cleaned.
Cover has shelf and seam wear. 10-inch split on the bottom seam. Two names written on the front cover. Looks like someone named 'Ken Steele' gifted this record to Phil. Lucky guy.
The disc has scuffs and a moderate amount of light marks. A few feelers, but nothing deep enough to keep it from being a great listen. Plays through from start to finish considerably better than it looks, with no skips.
Side one has even scuffing and lines, but no wear found that is especially heavy. The music powers through surface noise .
Side two is given a G+ grade due to a more visible mark on '1970' that extends into 'Fun House'. This particular mark doesn't seem to have any effect on play. Otherwise, side two is a bit better looking than side one, visually more VG- with some VG sections.
Despite the disc appearing to have seen better days, this record still sounds incredible. Plays with surface noise, much of it getting buried by the music. A few brief sections of more pronounced surface noise are found, but much of this disc plays VG with some borderline VG+ passages. The hype behind these OG pressings is real, and this copy is still a testament to that.
