1st Press USA
UNOPENED / UNPLAYED ! ! !
From 2007, this is an unopened / unplayed first press USA vinyl copy of the WHITE STRIPES Icky Thump double LP on Third Man / Warner Bros.
See photos for details - the LP came in a perf-tear plastic bag, with a red sticker sealing the Gatefold cover closed. The bag perf has partially torn, but not enough to remove the LP. The red sticker is intact. Inside is a 4 page insert along with the 2 discs.
VINYL is Mint, unplayed
Cover is EX++
Here are some interesting notes on this LP from Discogs -
180 gram vinyl mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray from 1" tape reels, "the first time in recording history that a vinyl master was cut in analog straight from a one inch master mix."
Two tracks have different mixes: in track A1 the guitar has an AM radio effect during one of the breakdowns, and another section was edited to be shorter. Track C9 doesn't feature the original spoken sections by Jack and Meg, instead only Jack is heard saying some random lines. Even with these differences, the credits in the artwork are the same as the CD releases, and A1's duration is listed as being 4:14.
