Up for auction is the super rare Sub Pop Single # SP 527 by the Detroit duo The White Stripes.
Pressed on red and white swirled wax with cover versions of three Captain Beefheart tracks:
"Party Of Special Things To Do""
b/w "China Pig" and "Ashtray Heart".
This single is in amazingly pristine condition..the sleeve and vinyl are immaculate. This is definitely the best i've seen offered anywhere. I have never played this single. This even includes the notification from Sub Pop with an apology for the delay in shipping the December and January Singles (they were shipped together) as well as the tear off subscription card that was never removed from the single. The white spot on the bottom of the front cover is from the flash from my camera...

I accept US POSTAL MONEY ORDERS (U.S Funds only), Cash (for those rare face to face transactions) as allowed by EBay's ACCEPTED PAYMENT OPTION POLICY and of course PAYPAL. At this time, I can only accept Domestic PayPal payments from verified US winners with a CONFIRMED address; if paying via credit card with PayPal, US winner must be VERIFIED with a CONFIRMED address. SHIPPING: Packages will be shipped to bidders within the continental U.S. via one of the following methods:

- United Parcel Service (UPS) or FEDEX ground. Both FEDEX and UPS ground services provide secure fast shipping with insurance and tracking. Although ground shipping is the most economical method of shipping....Both Fedex and UPS have various shipping options for those who wish to receive packages faster. Winning bidder will receive a UPS or FEDEX tracking number when the item ships.
