British blues and metal band Whitesnake formed in 1978, after singer David Coverdale left Deep Purple in 1976, and released two solo albums. The title of the first record was called "White Snake", from 1977, and he decided to use the name for his band. Solo record number two ('Nothwinds') was released in 1978, the same year as the FIRST Whitesnake album. Whitesnake is internationally known, and has been for forty years!
In celebration of the album 'Trouble' turning FORTY this year, up for grabs today is a triple shot of vintage Whitesnake! You'll get an ORIGINAL copy of 'Trouble', from 1978, (and NOT the 2014 reissue as stated), as well as an ORIGINAL copy of 1979's 'Lovehunter', which turns FORTY next year! This album's cover was banned in a few places due to the nude lady riding (or fighting) a snake with a dragon's head. 'Trouble' had its controversy, too. Look closely at the snake's mouth!
And you'll also receive, as part of this rockin' good deal, an interview picture disc from 1990! Made in England, and cut like the shape of a bat, this is vintage Coverdale spilling the beans. It was a very limited edition release, and a great add-on item to this Whitesnake triple shot!
The pic disc looks great. No scatches, scuffs, or gouges! Was purchased in the early 90s, and stored. The two LP records also look great, and the jackets are in very, very good condition! Both can be considered the grade of excellent for sleeve and vinyl. 'Lovehunter' has an imperfection on one side's spindle hole. (It sticks out slightly.) Looks like it happened during manufacturing. Can maybe be filed down, but I'm leaving it as is. Grab this sweet hard rockin' triple shot of Whitesnake collectibles, and at an even sweeter price!
