THE BLUES BUSTERS - The Closer I Get To You / WILLIE LINDO - Midnight (Spank SP20) - 12" - 198X
Nicely presented original pressing of this rare Lloyd Charmers-produced Spank 12" featuring The Blues Busters' rendition of Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway's The Closer I Get To You backed by Willie Lindo's fine rendition of Barry White's Midnight (And You). The vinyl retains a very good sheen with some light superficial surface marks, some fine, light hairlines and a few small scratches - nothing serious - see descriptions below.
A-side: There is a very small improving to tiny / very small amount of intermittent background surface noise with tiny, very small and some small pops and clicks plus approximately fourteen more prominent ones at the start caused by a couple of small scratches. Grade - VG/VG+ improving to VG++
B-side: There is a tiny / very small amount of intermittent background surface noise with tiny and some very small pops and clicks plus a few more prominent ones towards the end. Grade - VG+/EX- down to VG/VG+
Labels: There is a name written in blue biro on both labels (see scan).
