Here's a killer Salsa album that a lot of people sleep on. This thing is filled with killer funky dancefloor tunes and the vocals are just amazing on every song. This 1983 release stands out as Willie Rosario's all-time heaviest and funkiest Salsa album. The testosterone-driven Salsa Dura jams "Busca El Ritmo", "Cuando Se Canta Bonito", "Bajo La Luna", "Amigo" and "Todo Termino" are some of the HARDEST and funkiest Salsa tracks ever recorded and (if it's not apparent by now!) you should know that this is music for the dance floor--not for listening. Vocalists Tony Vega, Bobby Concepcion and Gilberto Santa Rosa were more than worthy of accompanying such a powerful and hard-hitting band as Rosario's and the results are quite amazing. While it's great to have this album on CD, the real icing on the cake is the fact that Universal Music Latino did a WONDERFUL remastering job. Enjoy!
