Description
"WILLIE SMITH And HARRY EDISON Play" Released in MONO by ALADDIN RECORDS (EP-515) as a 7" 45 RPM EP, with No Date on album or in Price Guides (Not a reissue and appears early 50's), contains 4 tracks (See Back Cover Scan for Songtitles). The EP is contained in a laminated, hard-style cover. It was "supervised" (produced) by NORMAN GRANZ. Please check out my other auctions for more rare JAZZ albums.
The EP is VERY GOOD PLUS and seems to have been played rarely with a small number of hairline scratches, particularly Side 1 which on playing, leaves light background noise in places (beginning of Side 1) and light pops (Side 1 last song), while Side 2 is particularly clean with even lighter background noise and less pops, with the music loud & clear throughout both sides, with little to no static.
The Superb Laminated Hard-Style Cover is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition with Very Light Wear to the front and back, the corners generally sharp with the 2 right showing a wrinkle, and the title and bottom Seams intact and clean, with the top seam showing 2 very small areas of semi-splits. Tight!
