Description
This is the rare 2 LP, 180 gram audiophile pressing of Sir William Walton's "Belshazzar’s Feast" (Wilson Audio WEMI-0001). Performances are by The London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andre Previn. This set was remastered by Dave Wilson from the original master tapes that were originally recorded and released by EMI Records in England. This was quite a departure for Dave Wilson since he had only released his own recordings prior to this. Only a couple of titles were released in this AGAT series (Analog Golden Age Treasures). They were very expensive at the time (like his speakers), and only done in very small quantities. It is quite rare to find any of these, let alone a sealed copy like this one. ------------------ The jacket is perfect except for a tiny corner bump in the upper left corner. There are no splits. The plastic bag is completely intact with no rips or tears.
