Up for grabs an original WIM MERTENS "The Belly of an Architect" 12" vinyl LP album, film soundtrack to the Peter Greenaway film, 1987 release on Les Disques du Crepuscule (TWI813) original label w/the intricate ornamental logo (discontinued), matrix nos.TWI813 A4/B4 C2, glossy cardboard cover with credits backside, paper inner, made in Belgium, condition cover: Mint, vinyl/labels: pristine Mint (actual pics shown, zoom over).
Arguably Greenaway's best film scored by minimalism giant Wim Mertens (at the height of his career right after Maximizing the Audience) bookended by Glenn Branca from the NYC no-wave scene, piano grand backed by the London Sinfonietta, acoustic instruments vinyl proper only, first press, rare in such condition.
