From 1966 on Fontana TF 718, classic UK mod inspired wild slice of freakbeat from 'The Wimple Winch', this there second 66 release and recognised as the best of there now much acclaimed three singles, 'save my soul' written by Demetrius Christopholus there vocalist and John Kelman on lead guitar, The band who originate from Liverpool were previously known as 'The Four Just Men ' and were the house band in Stockport's 'The Sinking Ship', The Wimple Winch were undoubtedly one of Britains finest Freakbeat / psychedelic bands, and up for auction is a piece of classic mega rare uk freakbeat, a beautiful copy in near MINT condition.
