WOW!!!.. How rare is this original uk freakbeat/psych 45!!!..The B-side plays the brilliant 'Atmospheres' instead of 'Typical british workmanship', only a handful of copies escaped the pressing plant with this mis-pressed B-side and i really cannot remember when the last copy was offered for sale, in fact this 45 is so rare that i have never seen or even heard of another mis-pressed copy ever being offered for sale!!!!. This copy of 'Rumble On Mersey Square South' is definitely one of the rarest and best UK Fuzz/Freakbeat/Psych singles to ever be released, all three uk 'Wimple Winch' releases are worth all the hype and are well established psych/freakbeat classics that will always be right near the top of the mod/psych/freakbeat rare UK 45 wanted lists. The fact that 'Atmospheres' was mis-pressed on the flip-side of just a few copies makes it a impossibly rare and musically perfect freakbeat/psych double-sider.

The 'Rumble' side looks really excellent and still has it's original sheen with only a few light surface marks and hairlines, the track plays near excellent with just a few light tics at the start of the track and just a few more sporadic surface tics during playback, apart from the occasional tic the sound quality is brilliant throughout and it's obvious that this record has had pretty limited play. The B-Side also looks in superb condition apart from a few distinctive marks and mild scratches, most of the 'Atmospheres' side is actually in EX very clean and glossy condition, the few marks that are on the vinyl are all on one side in one small area, these marks can just be felt when you lightly brush your fingertips over them, the track 'Atmospheres' starts excellent and ends excellent but the marks mentioned do cause some pretty loud clicks and pops during the middle section, these few marks were obviously caused by some sort of past accident as apart from them both sides are very clean and glossy and show little play. The vinyl does not attempt to skip or jump and 'Atmospheres' still plays through fine, it's a pretty loud pounding psych/freakbeat track apart from the quieter chorus so some of the clicks are almost drowned out by the brilliant loud music.

Both textured Fontana labels are in stunning clean condition with no faults at all, check out the pictures provided because they are the actual photos of the 45 for sale, as you can see they look superb and cannot really be faulted, when tilted towards a certain light you will see just a couple of light spindle traces on the A-side and just five or six traces around the centre hole of the B-side, again this shows that the 45 has had pretty limited play during the past 40 years. The Fontana company sleeve grades as very good condition due to one very small split in one top corner and a small amount of biro, other than these small defects the Fontana company sleeve is in great condition.

An impossibly rare original uk mis-pressed copy of 'Rumble On Mersey Square South' that plays the brilliant 'Atmospheres' on the b-side. A musically amazing perfect psych/freakbeat double-sider that really is impossible to find in any condition.

In some ebay vinyl listings you may have read the line 'Just Try And Find Another Copy', this extinct mis-pressed 'Wimple Winch' 45 is one of the very few records where this line can actually apply and be true, SO.......

''''JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER COPY''''
