Description
I have long been a believer that a couple of letters is not enough for a grade..I mean,"VG" can hide a lot of defects some of which may (to some) be sufficent for a lower grade ...So.....Please check my description as this supplements Goldmine/Record Collector grades...
"Color Him Father/Amen,Brother"..
Here's a tough one to find!...Classic sweet soul on the A side and a funky instrumental on the B side with some great breaks!..
Issued by Pye in 1969..7N 25493..UK pressing with a 4 prong centre...Complete with blue Pye company sleeve which is unsplit but a bit creased....
Both sides of the record have some scuffs and hairlines..(nothing deep or dangerous..They are the sort of scuffs that a record gets when it has been stored for years in a box of other records..All without sleeves and jostling against each other!)..Both sides play really well with no clicks..Certainly no sticking or jumping and hardly ANY background noise..NO edge warps either..
The A label has felt tip...Otherwise,the labels are undamaged with clearly legible text..(there are a couple of light stains to the bottom of the B side label)..The centre is present and still firmly attached...There are moderate spindle trails to both sides..
