One of several rare sealed indie rap pieces that I'll be posting this week, here's Wiseguys  from 1997. Produced by Rock Da MC and FMS, and if you think this record is easy to find you are DEFINITELY..... nah, that line is played out. This is a stellar find. This 1996 double LP project aimed to represent many Boston's neighborhoods (or at least ones where rugged street rap would be appreciated). The project was headed by Ray Benzino from Mighty RSO/Made Men and David Mays from The Source, and features Mobb Deep alongside a ton of lesser-known crews/rappers including: Hangmen Three, Mass Murderin' Mike, Cool Gsus, Tang Da Juice, Moty, J-Stone, Stets, Tony Rhome, etc. This new copy shows almost no storage wear at all, it's NEVER been opened and is surely ORIGINAL. No obvious breaks in shrinkwrap and no sings of damage. As a RULE: NOTHING is ever MINT unless you can be sure it's never been opened.
