Description
Unknown and utterly bizarre 1973 Private Pressing out of Indianapolis released on the Custom Fidelity Label, same as Mary Butterworth.
Almost impossible to categorize this LP , even with repeated listening It's hard to pin this down. Just as odd as the cover is the music within starting off with a strange Instro track called "Emanon" - I guess "Noname" spelled backwards and then out of nowhere shifting into a Pop Psych track "Susie" with very odd lyrics and arrangements.
Then continuing in a poppy vein utilizing an array of instrumentation including electric Guitar, Flattop, valve bone, flugelhorn, bass, electric piano , drums and tuba aswell as occasional string arrangements. It seems the more I listen to this It keeps getting more and more confusing , whether there is a concept behind this or none at all I cannot tell.
Side 2 starts of with excellent funky wha wha guitar accompanied by odd vocals and then shifting into a Pop Rock mode again with seemingly senseless lyrics. A couple of mellow dreamy tracks inbetween and then again a heavy Funk Psych track with wha wha soloing dedicated to all the fat women in the world before abruptly ending again with the same bizarre track the record started with "Emanon".
I could go on and on but still won't come up with an accurate description of this LP . Somewhere inbetween Pop ,Rock, Psych and just strange...
ps; I have cut & paste this discription from another source because it was so acurate -thank-you
