TOP VERY NEAR MINT AUDIO THROUGHOUT! EARLIEST FOR THIS PRESSING!   -1N -1N MATRIX!!     ORIGINAL AWESOME AND ORIGINAL GARROD & LOFTHOUSE FLIPBACK 'UN-CORRECTED' COVER! RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER WITH DARKER SHADED FACES ON THE COVER!  TRULY AWESOME AUDIO (NO) LOUD CONSTANT CLICKS OR POPS (Any interference is very minimal)!

SO RARE TO FIND WITH M.T. TAX CODE STAMPED!

Another from my personal collection! The vinyl and sleeve are always stored seperately in a case for protection. This is how I have always stored my records!  I have been collecting UK Beatles albums for more than 45 years and have accumulated more than 1000 UK Beatles albums alone! Here on offer, from my private collection, an original earliest to find 1st UK pressing of With The Beatles 1963 recording and released in 1963! This pressing features the earliest possible -1N-1N matrix variation the very earliest for this pressing, with the M.T. tax code stamped on side 1.  Beatles UK  pressings in top condition are becoming extremely scarce to find , with the un-Corrected Label Pressing. Also I must emphasize that the cover has the un-corrected track listing for 'You Really Got A Hold On Me' Also the rarest and most sought after with the underexposed faces of the front. (Later/corrected covers feature lighter shaded parts of the fab four) Please note! This is listed for its rarety rather than for its condition, there is light general wear and tear with age on the vinyl, but is still a very playable and extremely collectable indeed.  It is quite obvious that the vinyl has been played but there are no audio sounding marks on the vinyl that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops and certainly no skips or jumps during the audio!

Hear the complete album in the player below (Actual recording from the vinyl)

Highly collectable and sought after, especially in this early.  Earliest -1N-1N Matrix endings!

To make this even more desirable, the audio plays through  cristal clear and very vibrant without clicks or pops and no distortion during the audio! (just minor interference noted in between a track) hear for your self in the player above, actual recording from the vinyl!

Play tested three times prior to this listing at very loud volume on a top system, Importantly using a dedicated mono cartridge. Absolutely stunning top top Mono audio on all frequencies!

This album is totaly complete with the original poly lined Emitex record sleeve and original 1st issue Garrod & Lofthouse flipback cover!

This album was the second album to be released by the Beatles in the UK in 1963 and of course a classic! So as you can imagine many are found played to death and are found badly scratched with nasty distortion. To find a copy like this after 47 years is becoming extreemely difficult to find! Please look at my completed listings of records that I have sold of this calaber and you will see that I normally get it right!

With the Beatles' second British album, recorded four months after the band's first album and released on 22 November 1963!

The album features eight original compositions (including the first by George Harrison) and six covers, mostly of Motown and R&B hits. Most of the songs from the album were released in the United States on Meet the Beatles! on 20 January 1964!

The LP had advance orders of a half million and sold another half million by September 1965 ó making it the second album to sell a million copies in the UK (the first being the South Pacific soundtrack). It stayed at the top of the charts for 21 weeks, displacing Please Please Me, so that the Beatles occupied the top spot for 51 consecutive weeks. It even reached number eleven in the "singles charts" (because at the time UK charts counted all records sold, regardless of format)!

 THE VINYL

This original 50 year old vinyl, on initial inspection of the playing surface looks superbe. Only in strong light I notice very light surface marks/scratches fortunately nothing too deep or bad that would cause any real noticable interference during the audio! Any other marks that there could possibly be would be light whyspy sleeve removal/scuffs  only! At least no marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops during the audio! (Please note this is the original thick , heavy and chunky slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings.) The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warping! Quite unbeleivable to find on a Beatles record after 49 years!

 The Audio Quality

I have played this vinyl three times prior to listing, at very loud volume on a top system,, importantly using a dedicated mono cartridge! This 50 year old vinyl plays through absolutely superbe throughout! The audio was cristal clear and very vibrant with that deep bassey feel , only found like this on these earliest originals! I heard (no) clicks or pops during the audio and importantly no distortion or signs that this has been overplayed at all! Please note! There were three or four light ticks or clicks heard in one place in between tracks only and importantly not during the audio. There are Certainly no skips or jumps! Even in between tracks , any surface static is extreemely minimal, quite unbeleivable to find like this after 50 years!  Amaizingly even in between tracks this vinyl is lovely and quiet,, without the usual background surface noise that is so often heard on these early pressings. I would grade the audio at least excellent plus to  very near mint throughout!

hear for your self in the player above, actual recording from the vinyl!

Please note! I always add this disclaimer! I have given my honest opinion when describing the audio quality of this album and those who know the listings and vinyls that i sell my prime interest is the audio quality! Please allow for the odd isolated static\ticks  isolated light clicks as mentioned in between a track but nothing consistent  through out the audio! This is a genuine (not) reissue vinyl that is 50 years old and would have been played on a system that is 50 years old!

Please note, this album has been stored in a case laying dormant for at least 45 years or more. A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static\ crackle. A constant clean before each play is recommended. This will reduce any static and will enhance the audio quality. Points to note, I notice debrit on the playing surface after play so this will need cleaning before each play which will further enhance this audio quality.

THE LABELS

This is the original Yellow and Black Rough textured Parlohone labels! without ''SOLD IN THE UK............''  Across the labels.(Only early press) ''THE PARLOPHONE  CO LTD ...'' Around the label rims (only early press) A truly unique scarce copy, the credit for 'MONEY' IS 'JOBETE' ''MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN''.! (UK PRESS ONLY)! (This is the 1ST EVER variation with Un-corrected credits ) rarely seen with the M.T. tax code stamped on side 2.

There is little if (no) spindle ware (the hole is perfectly round) see photo.  spidering can be seen angled in strong light  (this has obviously been played but not overplayed in my opinion! ,, definately not overplayed )

THE RECORD SLEEVE

This is the original Emitex ,poly lined record sleeve (Correct for this pressing) Becoming fragile with age with very light staining/creasing only slight edge splits begining! Please note, THIS IS THE ORIGINAL!

THE COVER

The original   UK PRESS  GARROD & LOFTHOUSE Printed. super glossy laminated front LARGE flipbacks at the rear of the cover! The rarer variation with Darker shaded faces on the front!! There is no splits or tares!  Amaizingly there is no real main laminate creases to mention (very very rare to find (any creases are very minor indeed at spine edge only) and no real nasty, just very light rubbing\ ware with age. NO REAL fading/staining at the rear any is minor in my opinion not really worth to mention.  This cover features the track ''You Really Got A Hold On Me'  un-corrected' ''You Really Gotta Hold On Me''   This cover must grade at least excellent plus if not much better, in my opinion.
