Description

Westminster Records original mono recording WL 5307.  Earliest flat-edged red label disc, pressed in the US.  Mozart clarinet concerto, K. 622, with Leopold Wlach, clarinet, and the bassoon concerto K. 191, with Karl Oehlberger, bassoon.  Artur Rodzinski conducts the Vienna State Opera Orchestra.  See pics for program details.

Disc NM-, just a couple faint sleeve marks, minimal spindle wear, jacket VG+, clean, partial splits in top and bottom seams.

These very early LPs have great sound, but because of the limitations of the vinyl and the pressing equipment in the early 50's they will not have perfectly silent surfaces, even when visually perfect. They will be the quietest and sound best when played on a mono setup.
