Brief overview of liner notes: 
Beethoven's Symphonic Battle Piece "Wellington's Victory" represents a project of considerable magnitude in which three Orchestras with augmented sections of Brass and Percussion, numbers of flintlock muskets and a battery of field artillery. 
The musical score: recorded in June of 1960 at Wembley Town hall, London. The battle effects were taped at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in August of the same year.
