Description
This has been in my family for over 50years. It is a portable record player, it measures 22cmx11cmx6cm. It is made of Black Hard Plastic and Gold Anodised Metal. It plays all size records. and uses 4 size C Batteries. It was Made In England, and is a Camp Bird Product. It has Baird stamped on the back of unit. The serial no is H 4046. It is in original packing, it needs a new needle. It is a very unique and interesting unit. Any questions about player, please email me. Postage will be added to purchase when postcode given. On 08-Oct-07 at 23:57:54 AEST, seller added the following information:PLEASE NOTE **** Needles should be available, many sites to enquire from on " GOOGLE "...............This unit has not been used for 40 years. It has always been stored in original packaging. I am not very technical, but there seems to be a connection problem in needle handle due to no needle connected to it.
On 09-Oct-07 at 10:48:00 AEST, seller added the following information:We put new batteries in it and mechanism seems to be not working, we think it must relate to needle handle wiring, really not sure, maybe because we do not have a record to try on unit.
