WOW!! For sale is the most beautiful copy of the Woodstock soundtrack that I have ever handled! This is a promo punched Monarch first pressing on Cotillion, pressed at the Monarch plant in LA. Monarch pressings are highly sought after due to their superior sound quality and are typically rarer due to lower production numbers.

The whole package- from the sleeve, discs and labels to the unsplit original inner sleeves appear as close to new as a 50 year old record can...shows very little handling. The discs are gorgeous. Many records in this collection were never played, simply filed away and stored for decades. This appears to be one of them. This album is “auto-coupled” having sides 1 and 6 on one disc, sides 3 and 4 on another and sides 2 and 5 on the third.

Sleeve: EX

GORGEOUS crisp tri-fold sleeve has no major flaws...promo punch hole through the upper right hand corner. No ring wear to be seen. The only flaws to mention are a couple of faint discoloration spots where radio station identification stickers used to be, a small wrinkle on the upper right hand of the rear, and the faintest amount of wear to a couple of the corners, which still remain sharp save for a light bump to the upper right hand. Perfectly legible spine and seams have absolutely no cracking or splits. Razor sharp opening edges and tri-fold. Only a slight wrinkle on the top of the opening edges where the bump to the upper right hand corner is. See pics.

Discs 1 & 2: NM

Disc 3: NM-

GORGEOUS discs retain all of their original glossy sheen...only the faintest superficial hairlines appear/disappear when tilted under bright light. 5 of the 6 record surfaces have absolutely no scratching or scuffing, with the only mark appearing on the last song of Side 6 which is a VERY LIGHT superficial non-sounding scuff. Stunning discs!

Labels: NM

PERFECT labels on all 6 sides have no evidence of play, writing or marks.

Original company advertising inner sleeves are included, all unsplit with no tears or major creases, no writing with two having the promo punch hole.

When Mr. Senn passed, his collection was acquired by my friend who has commissioned me to help sell them. Grading System:

SS (Still Sealed)

Unopened records, still in original shrink wrap. In original manufactured condition unless otherwise noted (i.e. evidence of mildew or bent corners, etc.)

M (Mint)

The record and sleeve are in perfect, original condition. The record may have been played but will have no evidence of deterioration. (I will only use this grade on SEALED records that appear to be Mint as I believe any non-new, opened record cannot be truly called MINT.

NM (Near Mint)

A nearly perfect record. Any visible defects are of the type that "disappear" when the record is tilted under a strong light and they should not affect play. Sleeves in near mint condition will have no obvious signs of wear. Practically imperceptible ring wear may be allowed but no creases, seam-splits, or other easily detected flaws will be present.

EX (Excellent)

A very clean record. Near mint except for slight, superficial signs of wear. Sleeves in this condition may have marginal defects, but will not have significant creases or splits.

VG+ (Very Good Plus)

A well-cared-for record that is noticeably less than perfect, but defects are not visually or audibly distracting. Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or light scratches, but are still primarily clean. Sleeves may have some creases or minor ring wear, but should not be split.

VG (Very Good)

A used, reasonable copy to play. Many of the defects found in a VG+ copy will be more pronounced in VG condition. Surface noise may be evident and sleeves may look worn, but the record is still a decent copy.

G (Good)

A well-worn record that is still playable. Good does not necessarily mean "bad" but a record in this condition will have audible distractions and may have visible groove wear. Sleeves may have all manner of defects, but are still intact.

FA (Fair) and P (Poor)

These grades are for beat-up records. I will only sell records in these grades if they are extremely rare and sought-after.
