Pero Hay Una Melena b/w Salud, Dinero Y Amor

1st and only pressing released in 1971 on RCA Victor, Argentina. They were an unknown band that got a record deal with RCA in Argentina, and then recorded one of the most demented pieces to come out from the region. Pero Hay Una Melena was composed by German-born Argentine singer and composer Jose Bohr, and it was originally written in 1924. Featured here is a smashing freakbeat version, which contains only a part of the original one, and of course, that first version has not that insane, nonsense, and repetitive verse (Wooky Toky ..., which is actually the band's name, and the onomatopoeic equivalent of Walkie Talkie), that syncopated funky drums, and those wild guitar licks. They sing in Spanish with a remarkable foreign accent, and it sounds like if they were specifically from some European country (not native English-speakers), trying to pronounce in Spanish. They actually resembles a lot to the Swedish band the Con's Combo, and specifically to their lead vocal Conny Söderlund, who also recorded in the local RCA studies during that specific period. So maybe, there is some relation with them, although this remains unconfirmed. Wooky Toky only released one single in 1971 before disbanding, which is practically impossible to find. There is NO reserve, so please bid accordingly!
