Recorded on October 23, 1956 and November 12, 1956, these two Atlantic sessions feature: Art Farmer (tp), Eddie Bert (tb), Don Butterfield (tu), Jimmy Buffington (fhr), Hal Stein (as), Bob Newman (ts), George Barrow (bar), Teddy Charles (vib), Hall Overton (p), Jimmy Raney (g), Addison Farmer (b) and Ed Shaughnessy (d). Their selections are: SIDE ONE: WORD FROM BIRD; LAURA and SHOW TIME. SIDE TWO: WHEN YOUR LOVER HAS GONE; JUST ONE OF THOSE THINGS and BLUE GREENS.

This LP has been classified as VG+ as there is a very light mark on Side One, selection one, which is difficult to see and does not interfere with play. Other than that, the vinyl on both sides is clean. There are some marks around the spindle hole. The record cover is in excellent condition, but there is an ink mark through the “Atlantic 1274” on the liner notes. There is also “B-May 6, 1958” on the top of the liner notes and the numbers “171” in the bottom right corner of the liner notes. There is no sign of wear on the record cover itself.
