The Beatles Help!  1st Press 'MT' Tax Code *AN UPGRADE*
Firstly a bit of history of the album.....HELP was the BEATLES'  5th album coming out on the 6th August 1965. The premier of the album was played in London on the 29th July. Once again reaching the top spot in all record magazines of that era...as they had done with the previous four albums!

Vinyl: Near Mint!! WOW...I have NEVER seen this album in such a time-warp, as close to mint condition as you can physically get, simple wonderment!!!! I believe she has only been played twice, and once was by me-I couldn't let this one go without having a VERY CAREFUL, but thorough listen to her. THIS WAS HOW THE BEATLES WANTED THEIR FANS TO HEAR THEM!!! SUPERB.....No marks to the vinyl that I can see. Glorious weight. FAB sheen. FLAT as the day she was born. SIMLY WONDERFUL SOUND REPRODUCTION. Almost silent inbetween tracks...just a gentle Shhhhh (Ok, ok...I shall stop now, I think you've got the message!) Labels: Near Mint. Lovely and clear. There are only 2 incredibly light spindle marks-visible ONLY when angled to the light.  "MT" tax code, nice and bold to side two...This is interesting as this tax code was only used between the 1st of Jan 1963 through to the 1st of July 1963....The raised tax code isn't even rubbed-one of the best "MT" tax codes i have seen. Outer text "The Gramophone co.LTD" it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.  Really gorgeous-No hole wear and no writing or scratches etc. VERY DISPLAYABLE
Cover: EX++.Still lovely and white. There are VERY light knocks to the corners, with 3-4 spidering fingers eminating from the spine and 3-4 small crescent lamination wrinkles near the opening.  I AM BEING INCREDIBLY CRITICAL-SHE REALLY IS A MUSEUM PIECE. There's light small spots of foxing to the wonderfully laminated cover. The Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks are in near perfect shape, the card to the back is still white, with just a couple of light marks CERTAINLY NO writing, Splits or Tears! "Patents Pending" **************** NOW, here's the REALLY unusual thing about this gorgeous cover: The printing to the Beatles on the front has somehow been done ever-so slightly incorrect...The redish/pink print has shifted to the left, leaving an almost 3D effect! I have never seen this anomoly before. PLEASE SEE THE DETALIED IMAGES FOR YOUR OWN APPRAISAL ************************
Inner:  Near Mint condition NO SPLITS. It is the original 'Use Emitex' inner in simply FAB condition. Just creases. Even the print is lovely, rich and deep, without fading.
ALL IN ALL THIS IS A DEFINATE UPGRADE AND I HAVE PRICED HER AS SUCH....IF SHE DOESN'T SELL, I REALLY AM NOT TOO BOTHERED AS SHE WILL GO INTO MY UBER WONDERFUL COLLECTION ;-) (Please see my feedback for gradings)
