Description
I have up for auction a record (Diamond Disc 78) on the black embossed EDISON label. A very interesting record from the World War One era with a Message by Thomas Edison himself on one side entitled "Let Us Not Forget"-he is introduced by someone else who says ..Edison has never before allowed himself to be recorded but...'; then Edison speaks about the war, our boys overseas and our allies. Other side by New York Military Band with "National Airs of the Allies". The record is in very good condition, very little wear and scuffs and scratches are light and surface variety. Several flake/chips on outer lead in edge, but harmless-no affect on the play area at all. Great collectible from an historic perspective too!
