This is an original WWII era AUDIODISC record containing recordings of the VE Day Speeches of Winston Churchill and President Harry Truman. Truman's speech is on one side and Churchill's speech is recorded on the other side. This record is original and one of several that came from the estate of a guy that had served in the Armed Forces Radio during WWII. I am not an expert on these but the collection included what I think are actual transcription discs as well as recorded programs and music which were used by the radio station for broadcast purposes.
This record is original and I believe was used by a radio station to broadcast the VE Day Speeches of Winston Churchill and Harry S. Truman to their listeners at the end of WWII. The record is in a paper sleeve with handwritten titles. This record measures 16" in diameter.
I have not played the record but it looks like it was well cared for and in the original sleeve. Email any questions. Thanks for looking.
