Bop Bop Baby b/w Don't Need Your Lovin' Baby
As you probably know, "Bop Bop Baby" is a SUPER rocker!!
Wade and Dick were members of Roy Orbison's group, The Teen Kings. They wrote Ooby Dooby.
RARE, later Sun release.
Condition is a strong VG++/VG++. Both sides sound perfect. Has some slight scuffing. Also, has a tiny white dot on Don't Need Your Lovin' Baby side. Does not affect play. See Pic.
I test played this record on my 78 player with new 3 mil needle installed. Tracking is set to 8 grams checked with my Neuses Gram Gauge. That is minimum recommended for 78's.
I bought my Sun 78's at Selec-To-Hits, 605 Chelsea Ave., in Memphis in the early 70's. This record store was owned by Tom Phillips, Sam's brother.
Pls see photo of Select-O-Hits "back room" where there were thousands of Sun 78's just laying on the floor in stacks. That is my friend Edd Grider cleaning up some of the mess.
