Description

18 LP Box set produced in 1972 on His Master's Voice label, from the 1953 recording conducted by Wilhelm Furtwangler in Rome.  Sides 1-35 appear to be in mint condition - there is a slight blemish midway through side 36, however it does not appear sufficient to affect the quality or playability of the record.  In addition to 18 LPs, there is an accompanying booklet to each opera, plus a booklet containing a foreword by Elizabeth Furtwangler and photographs of the cast.  Two of the booklets have some slight creasing but the other three are in excellent condition.  The box itself is quite sturdy and has some slight fraying down the front left hand side.
