Description
Decca Collectors set of:
1. Das Rheingold (1959 6 sides) 2. Die Walkure (1966 10 sides) 3. Siegfried ( 1963 10 sides) 4. Gotterdammerung (1965 12 sides) 5. An Introduction to 'Der Ring Des Nibelungen' (1968 6 sides)
Records are in very good condition with no visible scratches
Some foxing to inner sleeves, especially on the sleeves for Das Rheingold (3LPs)
Tear to one sleeve
Also slight marks to some of the outer sleeves, & very small tear to one, but again generally good
Each section also contains a booklet. The pages of these are mostly clean & bright, tho there is some wear to the covers / slight dog-earring to corners, & slight foxing to a couple of pages.
Each section comes in a slide out compartment, which are intact but, like the outer box, with marks and shelf wear
Generally is a very impressive set which would have been a substantial investment in the 1960s from when it appears to date.
