Description

Waikiki Surf Battle Volume 2. Sounds of Hawaii Records(SH 5014).

This is a VERY RARE surf compilation that was recorded live at the WAIKIKI SHELL on September 14, 1963. It was a battle of 18 bands vying for the top spot. There was a total of 10,000 fans that saw the SPIEDELS win 1st prize. Other bands include the Royal Victors, Regents, Dukes, Vaqueros, Road Runners, Strollers, Harmonics and the Bel-Aires.

Conditions: Cover 7- or EX- edge wear, surface rubs, discolorization/Record 7 or EX  black and shiny with a few sleeve rubs.
