Lots of covers from Hawaiian bands that were recorded on Sept 14th 1963. Killer cover of Miserlou by the Spiedels. This is a very rare compilation. Ultra rare surf mono LP Sounds of Hawaii SH5014 Volume 1 "Waikiki Surf Battle" features a battle of high school surf bands, including "Delrays," "Majestics," "The Escents," "Stardels," "The Vogues (not the vocal group)," "Road Runners," "Statics," "Shandells," "Angie & The Originals," "Judy and the Belmonts," and the "Spiedels." Really hot surf sounds from the early 60's recorded live.
Cover 9- or NM- minimal wear, beautiful cover, white boards/Record 8 or NM- black and shiny.
