Description

Wardell Gray (with Art Farmer, Harper Cosby, Hampton Hawes, Larance Marable, Robert Collier) LOS ANGELES ALL STARS  Prestige 147, recorded 1947. Jacket is E: strong fields, but has been scotch-taped on 2 edges, 5 pencil or pen marks to the catalog on reverse. As for play wear, this record is virtually untouched, but the pressing is very hissy; typical. E. Two impurities in the pressing are audible sequentially for about 4 revolutions apiece.

Second offering from the vast, very special collection of an international avant-garde LP maven, to be offered across the coming year.
