Why I'm Selling These Treasures:
First, I want to apologize if I haven’t responded quickly—some days, it’s honestly been hard to even look at a computer screen. Life threw me a curveball when I was finally diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease that took over 20 years to identify. It’s made even simple things—like walking—a real challenge. In the midst of it all, I lost my home, my brand-new truck, and nearly everything I owned… including my sense of stability.
I didn’t want to burden the people around me, so I left and spent the summer running an unsanctioned homeless shelter in Burlington, Vermont—trying to help others while barely staying afloat myself. Now, I’m in a hotel room doing my best to rebuild, one item at a time.
Through it all, I’ve clung to what brings me joy: finding unique, forgotten pieces of history and sharing them with others. While model trains have always been my biggest passion, I’m now digging through barns, estates, and storage units across New England—uncovering all kinds of vintage treasures, artifacts, oddities, and collectibles.
I’m selling this ever-growing collection to fund my next chapter: buying a camper so I can travel the country, discover more hidden gems, and share them here on eBay.
To My Buyers:
I know some of you are waiting on shipping refunds or messages. I truly appreciate your patience—I'm doing all of this with no capital and accounts in the red. But I will make it right. I always offer combined shipping and go the extra mile to ensure you’re happy with your order.
If I’m late responding or something is delayed, please know it’s not from lack of care—it’s just that some days, my condition is physically overwhelming.
Your support isn’t just helping me survive—it’s helping me rebuild a life with purpose.
Please follow the shop, leave a review when you're happy, and know that every purchase makes a real difference. Thank you for being a part of this journey.
