ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! –

This is a very fine release by Stereophile Magazine, recorded in association with Water Lily Acoustics, of Gary Woodward on piano and Brooks Smith on flute, playing works of Griffes, Reinecke, and Prokofiev.
Produced by Larry Archibald and John Atkinson, the recording was captured at the Allan Hancock Foundation at the University of South Carolina, and is stellar in its sounding. (Just listen for the air in the flute, the mouthing as natural as can be. Exquisite, really. And as state-of-the-art as Kavichandran Alexander can capture – he monitors through Stax electrostatic headphones.)
Note, too, the entire line-up electronically, right down to the tape machine, is tube analog, thus producing a true wonder of a disc that should not be missed.
A fabulous LP, in every way one can be, here factory sealed.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
