Description

Wayne Cochran And His C.C. Riders: Alive And Well And Living In A Bitch Of A World 1970 King KS-1116 (G/VG+)

Talvin Wayne Cochran (May 10, 1939 – November 21, 2017) was an American soul singer, known for his outlandish outfits and white pompadour hairstyle. He was sometimes referred to as The White Knight of Soul. Cochran is best known today for writing the song "Last Kiss", which he performed with the C.C.(Stands for chitlin' circuit) Riders. This was a wild man, some audacious mixture of black soul man and white-trash hillbilly. No offense meant to anyone.

This album is a keeper although the cover is not in the best shape (Stickers...hole punched and bumps and bruises no splits (bought as is now). The vinyl is fine been played (not much) and was handled well. Got this years back at a record show in St Louis and had been asked many times to sell or trade it. That time has arrived albeit over 20 years. Please view the photos and use the ZOOM option for best results. Thanks for your time.

Thanks VETS!!!
