Wayne Shorter Speak No Evil Blue Note 4194 NY/USA RVG "ear" Mono Original NM/VG++.  Has the New York, USA label address. The heavy vinyl also has the "ear" and "VAN GELDER" stamp in the dead wax.  The Vinyl is between VG++ and NM.  This is a beautiful copy of this record.  The vinyl looks almost perfect with just a few hairline marks.  The cover is between VG+ and VG++.  It has a bit of wear/discoloration, corner bumping and someone wrote a name neatly on the back cover (see photos).  She also wrote her name on the side one label. Comes with Blue Note inner.

On playback, the record sounds great. There is not much background noise except some very occasional faint pops or clicks here or there. The only exception is the first song on side one -- at the beginning of the song there is a click that repeats about 8 to 10 times when the record goes around and about 2 minutes later there is a noise that repeats 5 or 6 times when the record goes around. On inspection, under a harsh light, I see a very short light scratch that likely is the cause of the first clicks. I cannot see what might be causing the second noise. There are some minor pops or clicks between some of the songs.  In addition to the hairline marks mentioned above, there are some minor scuffs that I cannot hear on playback.

Grade Scale:

(S) SEALED = VINYL assumed mint, never open.

(NM) NEAR MINT = VINYL nearly perfect, no obvious signs of wear. COVER should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes.

(VG++ or EX) VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS or EXCELLENT = VINYL almost NM but it might have a few more superficial signs of use and slight sleeve scuffing.  COVER may only have the slightest signs of normal wear.

(VG+/VG++) Between VERY GOOD PLUS and VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS = VINYL may have a bit more signs of use & scuffing than VG++. Surface noise will be more noticeable.  COVER may have slight ring wear or discoloration.  Very small seam split.

( VG+ ) VERY GOOD PLUS = VINYL may have scuff marks, very light scratches and signs of some wear and will have surface noise in spots, generally still has it's luster.  COVER will have slightly more ring wear or discoloration. Minor seam split. 

( VG ) VERY GOOD = VINYL has more noticeable scuffs and scratches.  Surface noise will be noticeable (may crackle, pop or make other annoying noises), especially in the quiet areas. COVER has minor writing, tape or sticker, ring wear and more seam splits.

( G ) GOOD  = VINYL may have multiple scratches or small gouge(s), may have continuous crackles, pops, significant surface noise. COVER has more than normal wear and tear.
