These records are part of the estate of an avid collector of Rock and Roll, Country etc. They gave an awful lot of pleasure to him, and hopefully they will go to good homes where they will be enjoyed for many years to come. We are not dealers, and are no experts in the grading system so I’ll just try to describe what I see, but do ask if we can help further.
This auction is for We Sing the Blues, a mono vinyl LP on the Liberty label. It features a variety of artists: Chris Kenner, Irma Thomas, Willie Harper, Aaron Neville, Ernie K. Doe, Benny Spellman, the Showmen, Benny Spellman, Eskew Reeder ad Jessie Law. This is a rare offering. Side 1 Matrix LBY 3051 A-1 so I think first pressing. The cover has no rips or tears, the wax-lined inner is clean and tidy with some discolouration with age, and the vinyl is bright and clean and I can’t see any flaws with the naked eye. Very lovely condition, very well looked after reflecting the love of vinyl of the previous owner.
