Weather Report - 6 lp's incl. Sweetnighter, Mysterious Traveller, etc. Sent with Australia Post Standard.
These are all from my personal collection, but although I've had all of them since well before the turn of the century, I don't think that I ever purchased any of them new. Condition varies. I have not listened to them recently, so grading is visual only. Please keep that in mind. What I would say, is that anything that was audibly offensive would not be in my collection. However, I expect that there would be some listening defects as there are defects to the covers.
Once purchased, my records have always been handled and played carefully on good quality equipment with a light weight stylus and modest tracking force.
1. Weather Report 1971 1st US pressing Cat. No. c 30661 Vinyl probably VG, but maybe better; Cover intact but scuffed - VG? 2. I Sing The Body Electric 1972 1st Aust pressing Cat.No. SBP 234172. Probably VG+ x VG+. 'Not for sale' stamped on label 3. Sweetnighter 1973 1st US pressing Cat. No. KC 32210. Probably VG x VG or perhaps a little better. 4. Mysterious Traveller 1974 1st Aust pressing Cat. No. SBP 234517. Probably VG+ x VG+, although "$1" is inked onto the cover 5. Black Market 1976 1st US pressing Cat. No. PC 34099 - Probably VG x VG+ 6. Heavy Weather 1977 1st Aust. pressing Cat. No. SBP 234974 Probably VG x VG+ Small writing on label.
Once again, gradings are visual only and according to the Goldmine rating scale. I would not want to be hauled over the coals over grading disputes - if in doubt please ask. However, if I had to listen to all of the records to report more specifically, I might as well have listed them individually. Having said that, if there is some things that a potential buyer would want me to listen to and report back I would consider it within reason. Keep in mind that 6 records probably equals about 4+ hours of listening time.
Pressing information came from the discogs.com website, and on the information contained there, all 6 records are 1st pressing - 3 from the US, and 3 from Australia.
Records are sent in a double layer of rigid cardboard, with the vinyl external to the record, with each album inside a plastic record cover (used) to minimise the risk of compression damage to the covers. So, priced at below $20 per record delivered.
