Description
You are bidding on the second record ever produced by "Weird Al" Yankovic. Made back in 1981 after the initial success of "Another One Rides The Bus" on the Dr. Demento show, Al ponied up the money to create this record on his own Placebo Records label.
Only 1,000 copies of it were made at the time, and your guess is as good as mine to how many actually still exist!
The record contains pre-album release versions of "Gotta Boogie", "Happy Birthday", and "Mr. Frump In The Iron Lung", all featuring a young "Weird Al" singing and playing accordion, sounding as if they were recorded in a garage! Awesome stuff. It also contains what would eventually become the album release version of "Another One Rides The Bus".
The record jacket comes in a plastic sleeve, and is in mint condition, and it is also AUTOGRAPHED BY AL! The record itself has been played only once to record its contents. Since Al's parents recently passed away, we may not see another album or concert out of Al for quite some time, so get this piece of his history while it's hot!
