Description

Rare vintage 10-inch vinyl LP of 'Welsh Songs Volume II' featuring the distinguished baritone Thomas L. Thomas with accomplished harpist Enid Simon and pianist Jacob Hanvema. This collectible Decca Records release (catalog number LW 5222) captures the rich heritage of traditional Welsh folk music with authentic Celtic harp accompaniment.

This exceptional recording features:

  • Thomas L. Thomas's masterful baritone interpretations of traditional Welsh songs
  • Enid Simon's exquisite Celtic harp arrangements providing authentic accompaniment
  • Jacob Hanvema's sensitive piano support enhancing the vocal performances
  • Track listings presented in both English and Welsh languages
  • Iconic album artwork featuring Welsh dragon and Celtic harp imagery
  • 10-inch format characteristic of premium classical and folk recordings of the era

The album shows age-consistent wear with visible edge damage, corner rounding, and surface aging typical of vintage vinyl from this period. The record remains a solid example of mid-20th century Welsh folk music preservation. A remarkable piece of Celtic musical heritage that would make an outstanding addition to any collection of Welsh culture, classical vocals, or vintage Decca recordings.
