Description
This is World Pacific Records PJ -1240, The Montgomery Brothers Plus Five Others, a black label deep groove original mono issue featuring Wes Montgomery and Freddie Hubbard. The record is in VG++ condition showing only light paper sleeve marks and playing quietly throughout, except for the beginning of side 2 where there is some light background crackle in the quiet spots. The labels are perfect. The original cover has some tape residue on the corners and a 3" split on the top seam, but is otherwise excellent and intact. This is an excellent copy of this wonderful collector's piece offered without a reserve. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
